Memorial Del Genocidio De Kigali

El Memorial del Genocidio de Kigali en Kigali, Ruanda, se erige como un conmovedor tributo a las víctimas del Genocidio contra los Tutsi de 1994. Inaugurado en el décimo aniversario del genocidio, este memorial en Gisozi honra las 250,000 vidas perdidas y educa sobre las atrocidades de los genocidios del siglo XX.

El proyecto en curso, el Muro de los Nombres, conmemora a los fallecidos, con muchos nombres aún pendientes de documentación. Los jardines conmemorativos ofrecen un espacio sereno para reflexionar sobre la historia del genocidio, instándonos a asumir la responsabilidad personal en la prevención de la discriminación y las atrocidades masivas.
